Today the junior world orienteering championships 2026 in Karlskrona officially begins! The competition will begin with the Opening ceremony at Brinova arena and the first competition will take place on Monday the 29 june.

Opening ceremony

The Opening ceremony will take place in the centre of Karlskrona. Starting 17.00 there will be a parade from Stortorget (Karlskrona - 56.161219, 15.586581 - Link in Google maps) to Brinova arena. The parade departs 17:15. Competitors will be briefly greeted and welcomed by guests and JWOC 2026 partners at Brinova arena at 17:30.
