Today its time for the runners to rest a bit before the final two races on Friday and Saturday. During the rest day there is plenty of things you can do and experience around Karlskrona. Later tonight it is also time for the next prize-giving ceremony where we will award the top 6 runners, both men and women, from the long distance race.

Visit the Fanzone at Stortorget

Don't forget to visit the Fanzone at Stortorget where we together with Karlskrona Event Group and the FIFA World Cup, create an exciting festival atmosphere in the city center. The Fanzone is open daily from 12:00 local time (UTC+2). It is also here that the prize-giving ceremonies held today and tomorrow, so don't forget too join us and celebrate the top 6 runners, both men and women.

The best tips from the volunteers!

• Take the ferry to Bredavik on Sturkö for ice cream, kroppkakor, or pizza by the windmill.
• Rent a bike in Karskrona and explore Uttorp
• Visit Trummenäs, where you can play golf, minigolf, football golf and padel. You can also finish with a swim on the beach!
• Go out to Kristianopel and take a walk along the wall and enjoy a good meal at Sött & Salt.

Experience Karlskrona

Karlskrona, the city that was founded in 1680, when Karl XI decided to build Sweden's new naval base here. Prize-giving ceremony Long distance

Today at 17:30 local time (UTC+2) its time for the first prize-giving ceremony for the long distance race. The ceremony is held at Stortorget, in front of the town hall. During the ceremony medals, diplomas and prizes are awarded to the top three, with diplomas and prizes for places four to six.
